About

Who We Are

Canac Aviation is an independent aircraft brokerage and aviation fleet solutions provider  founded by a team of professionals with  decades of global  aviation and business experience.

Operating from Canada, our focus is to connect credible aircraft owners and operators with qualified buyers, investors, and MRO partners in emerging aviation markets.

Our background in cross-border trade and aircraft introductions allows us to provide clear, reliable communication, and ensure both sides benefit from transparent, professionally managed transactions.

We Specialize In

Canac Aviation provides brokerage and referral services across three key aircraft segments:

  • Light Aircraft – for flight training, private, and short-haul operations

  • Private and Business Jets – for personal, executive, and charters.

  • Regional and Utility Aircraft – for passenger, cargo, and multi-role operations

Beyond sales referral, our work extends to spare parts sourcingaircraft reactivation coordination, and investment introductions for aviation infrastructure projects.

Through our efforts, we aim to contribute to international aviation development, working with developing aviation regions such as Africa, Asia, and South America by introducing appropriate and affordable aircraft solutions.

Our goal is to help these markets expand access to air travel, allowing people and goods to move more freely, faster and in comfort, and bringing lasting benefits to regional connectivity and economic growth.

“We believe that aviation is more than transport — it’s a bridge to opportunity.”

The Mattala MRO Initiative (Proposed)

As part of our growth vision, Canac Aviation is developing a proposal for a wide body Airbus  Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (Sri Lanka).

The project is at a concept and feasibility stage, exploring existing hangar facilities and planning for eventual BOI qualification once investor partnerships are in place.

It is important to note that no formal government engagement has yet taken place; planning remains at the private concept stage, focused on investor readiness.

Sri Lanka’s current business climate is increasingly recognized for its transparency and improving investment framework, making it a promising location for aviation growth.
